Welcome to the Hermanus Rainbow Trust

The Hermanus Rainbow Trust aims to paint a rainbow of hope and opportunity for poor and marginalised communities, and operates within the Overstrand region of the Western Cape province in South Africa. The Trust provides essential health, social and education services in response to the dire needs of poor and marginalised communities within the region. We are officially registered as a trust and as a nonprofit organisation (NPO). The Trust is affiliated to the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA).

Our integrated health, welfare, education and social development projects have arisen out of our mission and are carried out according to a comprehensive set of objectives. Through our monitoring and evaluation systems we are able to ensure that individuals making us of our services do not fall through the cracks, and to ensure that our services remain of the highest standard. We strive to deliver serives that are both effective and efficient in order to proide quality services to as many beneficiaries as possible.
